Paid Search & Digital Strategist

Position Summary: 

The Red Thinking Paid Search & Digital Strategist is a strategically-minded individual responsible for developing, overseeing and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns. This position specifically requires first-hand paid digital management experience and in-depth expertise in paid social media and PPC campaigns, including but not limited to Google, META, Spotify, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

To be successful in this role, you should be well versed in paid digital advertising best practices and trends. You are comfortable designing strategic recommendations and executing campaigns based on established KPIs that meet and exceed goals and align with the voice and vision of a brand.

The Paid Search & Digital Strategist works in collaboration with Red Thinking’s organic content creation team and SEO specialist in addition to working closely with the Vice President on all strategic digital efforts and plans. 

This position requires Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, plan, and implement small, medium and large paid digital plans across Red Thinking’s portfolio of clients, optimizing and continuously testing all campaign elements: ad group, ad, ad placement, ad spend, and ad targeting
  • Develop thoughtful strategic plans for paid campaigns and make meaningful recommendations to ensure campaigns are optimized and achieving desired goals on an ongoing basis
  • Manage timelines for digital campaign deliverables including but not limited to budget proposals, asset/ad creation, platform set up and monthly or quarterly analysis reports
  • Conduct daily monitoring of paid campaigns metrics for assigned clients and make adjustments as appropriate
  • Communicate campaign progress with internal team and clients as needed, bringing solutions-oriented suggestions to make improvements where necessary
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to thoughtfully communicate analytical reports to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President and digital team on all integrated social media strategy efforts to ensure alignment and consistency across all efforts
  • Ongoing research of assigned clients’ brands, remaining familiar with their brand identity and industry, adapting content and paid strategies accordingly
  • Ad hoc organic social media content writing and developing content calendars for posting schedules, as needed for assigned clients
  • Maintain a pulse on world events to pivot campaign strategy quickly and efficiently, anticipating client needs, questions, and concerns.
  • Support the President/Owner and Vice President on new business initiatives specific for paid digital opportunities
  • Work with web team and/or select developers to ensure tracking pixels are set up for paid campaigns when needed
  • Stay relevant by keeping up with industry trends and experimenting with new techniques and technologies to increase the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Encourage and nurture a collaborative team environment across specialities.
