Six (More) Reasons We’re Smiling. Red Thinking earned six Hermes Creative Awards, including one Platinum, three Gold, and two Honorable Mentions, across brand identity, web design, video, environmental design, and print collateral.

When the Hermes Creative Awards results rolled in this year, we did the only appropriate thing: poured the good coffee, opened the announcement, and counted six wins. Six pieces of work that started as sketches, strategy, strong opinions, and Friday-afternoon brainstorms, and ended up on an international awards list.

About the Hermes Creative Awards

If you’re not in our world, here’s the quick context. The Hermes Creative Awards are administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the country, with thousands of entries from agencies, in-house teams, and independent shops worldwide. Hermes recognizes work in three tiers: Platinum, Gold, and Honorable Mention. Getting recognized once is meaningful. Six in a single year is a milestone we don’t take lightly.

Behind each of these wins is a Red Thinking strategist, writer, digital expert, and designer who sweats the kerning, argues passionately about a quarter-pixel of padding, defends the em-dash from the en-dash, and pinged the group chat at 5:36 pm with “hear me out.” We say it a lot internally, and we’ll say it again here: good work is a team sport.

The Six Wins

1. Red Thinking Annual Retreat T-ShirtBrand Identity/Apparel Design – Platinum

Some of the best creative work starts closest to home. This one started with a simple idea: kindness. Designed for our annual holiday-season retreat, the shirt was never just merch. It was a reflection of something we actually believe in: kindness and collaboration.

We captured this through a warm, considered palette of pinks, reds, and greens, bright enough to feel celebratory without tipping into noisy. The icons and shapes were chosen by Juan to feel uplifting and inclusive, the kind of visual language that invites people in rather than excluding them. Nothing on this shirt happened by accident. That is what Platinum feels like when it comes from the inside out.

2. The Watermark Hotel– Naisho Room Dining – Collateral – Gold

The Naisho Room has always carried a specific kind of energy — elevated, intentional, quietly exceptional. This piece had one job: match it. We built something that didn’t just announce a dining experience; it conveyed one. Every typographic choice, every spatial decision was made in service of the feeling The Naisho Room delivers before a guest ever sits down. That’s what brand storytelling in print looks like when it’s done right.

3. Copper Builders- Paid Digital / Video Campaign – Gold

Great video advertising doesn’t interrupt — it earns attention. For Copper Builders, the win came from brand storytelling that felt native to the platform and true to their identity. The creative led with the why behind the build, not just the what — and audiences responded. This is the kind of paid digital work that builds brand equity while it drives performance.

4. EagleBank – Signage / Environmental Design – Gold

The objective here was never just wayfinding. It was brand presence at every touchpoint along K Street. We built a cohesive visual language with a purposeful spatial hierarchy and a design system that commands attention and reinforces EagleBank’s identity — whether someone is walking past or entering. Signage done right tells a story. This one did.

5. Anthony Wilder – Website Design – Honorable Mention

Anthony Wilder reimagines what a home can be. Their website needed to match that standard — and do more than look beautiful. We elevated the visual identity, clarified the user journey, and built a scalable SEO-forward structure that works as hard as the design itself. The result is a site that reflects who Anthony Wilder is and converts those ready to build with them.

6. SteelHaven – Website Design – Honorable Mention Category

SteelHaven is transforming what’s possible in luxury construction — delivering precision-built steel structures to the world’s most exclusive and hard-to-reach destinations. The website had to carry that weight. We built a digital experience that matches the brand’s ambition — visually commanding, narratively clear, and built to perform for an audience that expects the extraordinary. And we’re only in Phase One. The best is yet to come.

What this actually says about us

It would be easy to read six awards as “Red Thinking is winning.” We’d rather you read it as something else: Red Thinking is listening. Every piece on this list came from a client conversation that started with an idea rather than a deliverable. None of them came from a creative team chasing an award. They came from us doing the work — well — alongside people we like and respect. The recognition followed.

That’s the formula we’ll keep running. Onward! — The Red Thinking Team
