ACCOLADES GIVEN FOR CLIENTS LOST BOY CIDER LOGO AND TAKE LOUDOUN HOME VISITORS’ BUREAU CAMPAIGN

Red Thinking is honored to announce that we have received three prestigious wins in the annual Communicator Awards, a leading international awards program in the advertising and marketing industry that has for nearly 30 years recognized innovative thinking among ad agencies of all sizes.

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. AIVA members include executives from organizations such as Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Lockheed Martin and MTV Networks.

This year, Red Thinking took home two Awards of Excellence – the highest honor – for our logo and can design for Lost Boy Cider. Lost Boy is an innovative cidery based in Alexandria, VA, which is fueling the growing craft hard cider industry in the United States. Red Thinking designed Lost Boy Cider’s logo and the packaging for their canned hard ciders, and Lost Boy has enjoyed growing success in the Washington, DC region, and on a national scale since its launch.

Red Thinking also brought home a Communicator Award of Distinction for its campaign promoting the Take Loudoun Home initiative, which promotes visitor tourism to Loudoun County, VA among “foodie, wine & beer” enthusiasts, highlighting the products of local, often family-owned Loudoun County farms, ranches, dairies and wineries. During the course of Red Thinking’s promotional Take Loudoun Home campaign, sales across the board of participating Loudoun artisan businesses increased 18.5%, and continues to rise.

While Red Thinking serves clients across many industries on a national scale, we treasure the opportunity to promote regional brands and business initiatives here in our own metropolitan DC area backyard. This commitment dovetails with our dedication to supporting local charities like Women Giving Back, a Sterling-based non-profit that provides clothing and other household resources to at-risk mothers and their children.

Giving back to our community, and helping businesses grow, are at the core of Red Thinking’s DNA. Being recognized by honors as exemplary as the annual Communicator Awards is wonderful, no doubt, but the true honor is being able to work with clients who are creating brands & ideas, like Lost Boy Cider, and supporting sustainable local businesses, as is the Take Loudoun Home program.
